a fresh start-(nklr)
Hi all-
I reviewing the list digest, I see my intro message
never made it, so lemme start again.
My name is scott, I recently got my first KLR, this is
my 2nd dual sport (if the Transalp is considered
dual-sport) and my 2nd thumper (I have a non-running
SR500). I've always wanted a KLR , and now my wishes
have mostly come true(an 89, I don't know what that
makes it. A2?) I have one, but it doesn't run, but the
price was right (free!).
I've been lurking on the list for about a week now,
and I look foward to learning from all of you, and
mayhaps I won't bore you too much with my frustrated
rants at what the previous owner did to this bike..
Thanks in advance
-Scott
-89 KLR (mostly)
-89 Transalp (the Great White Whale)
-79 SR 500 (it is trying so hard to be british...oil
leaks, won't start...)
-82 Seca 650 (WAAAY too many cylinders...)

Sorry about that.. I think that you'll find some piccies of one on one of the UK supermoto sites http://www.supermotech.co.uk -- Andy>Andy: >You missed an outstanding option in the supermotard class, the MZ >Black Panther. If you are looking for good value like the KLR, the >MZ has it. The Yamaha motor is a workhorse. >Mark S. Hamlin
