The 'C' is the European version of the KLR. Also available in Canada. I believe it has the same engine/drivetrain as the 'A' but lots of differences in front suspension, body work, etc. Check out www.kawasakicanada.com for a brief comparison. Cheers, Steve Pye

Yep, they are alike, except for the body do that is different. The C is available in Canada, but it is heavier, and cost more...go figure.

Some parts are and some aren't. I own both, and have swapped a lot of my good parts on the C model to the A. The main differences - the A has a single pot front brake, thin disc on 36mm forks. It has a tach, aluminium swingarm and wheels. The C has a twin pot, thicker disc, on 41mm forks. It has no tach, steel swingarm and wheels, and sits an inch lower. Check out the Canadian kawasaki site http://www.kawasakicanada.com/, they'll have both models. If you or anyone else wants specifics, let me know. Rich limespiders@... wrote:

The Kawi Can says the "A" and "C" both have 38mm forks - typo? "Swede"

I think the C model engine has a larger counterweight in the engine. NIce bike but the tamk is too small. Peter B ElGlaude wrote:

Yep, the A might be 38 as opposed to 36, I'm not near the bikes now to check, but the C is definitely 41. Rich Swede wrote:
