Can someone please tell me the max recommended weight limit for the KLR650, and can you point me in the right direction (websites, etc) for setting up the mods to accommodate a FAT guy? Thanks Heavy L Los Angeles

I'm not sure of the max. recommended weight but..... one day last summer I offered a friend a ride home after he dropped his bike off at the local shop for repairs. I weigh 220 lbs, he weighs 280 lbs. This was TOO MUCH for my klr!! Horrible grinding noise, no suspension travel and the tire was rubbing the frame/fender. I didn't offer him a ride back. Steve Pye
