Where can I mailorder a magnetic oil pan drain plug for my KLR?
Sounds like it would be a good idea to have one.
Thanks,

I'm selling my KLR. Too many babies and not enough time.
Located in NW Alabama. Bike is in perfect shape. 3000 miles.
Full service completed(valves adjusted), and I just relubed the
whole rear end for good measure....and repacked the front and rear
wheel bearings.
Bike has Moose bash plate and I'll throw in the 14 tooth sprocket and
both service manuals.
5 oil changes in 3000 miles.
Your're not likely to find a more pampered KLR.
Don't be afraid to make an offer....I'm impulsive and I just might
have a new toy on my mind the day you call.
You can contact me over the weekend at:
256-757-7037 or at kdt1@...
ken.trull@... will not be checked again until Monday.
Enjoy,
Ken.

where can i get a magnetic oil plug?
Hi Brad,
Whan you use the magnetic plug you will notice a small amount of VERY fine
metal dust from wear, I suspect maily from clutch plates (steel ones
obviously) this would otherwise circulate with the oil as a very fine rubbing
compound.
If you every see a sliver of metal you know something is broke or about to
break.
Safe biking

Just take a round magnet and epoxy it to your drain plug. Later, MM >
