how low can you go???

My wife wants to play with the "Big Boys" and trade her klr-250 for a klr-650. I need to know if the lowering links for this bike will bring her down enough. She is 5'--3" and need a seat height of no more than 31 inches. Will these links allow that?

loud horns & electrics

Professor, Just got my entire subscription to DSN back to 1998. Good stuff. I was reading your article on lights and noticed where you pointed out your dual electric horns. Apologies if this has been discussed before or in an issue I have yet to crack but I have a couple of questions about those. Where did you get them? Water and mud proof? Washable? What kind of electrical draw are they? What have you done to your electrical system as it relates? Did you just use the old horn wiring? With two horns did you wire them in parallel or serial? Finally, how do your mounting points fair in an unplanned get-off? Thanks very much in advance, Jim (electrical idiot) Jackson II A13 "Gonzo" South Carolina P.S. Going to get Gonzo from Alabama tonight WOOOO HOOOOO!!! Of course it would be raining here all weekend... _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com Share information about yourself, create your own public profile at http://profiles.msn.com

John, Have you thought about the Suzuki 650 with the factory lowering kit? Some on the list have found that to be a good solution. BMW offers a similar kit for the F650 (duck and cover!!). Ralph Ralph E. Hanson 99 KRL 650 http://www.wvu.edu/~journal2
