the socket that plugs into the back of the headlight. You might check there, you never know... Anyone else had this problem Mine did this when I first had it; I also thought it was the socket. It was not, but very close...it was the lower fastener on the housing, and would vibrate at 3000 to 4500 rpm. Once I figured out to tighten that screw, I had a quiet machine. Unfortunately, no I have not, just learned to live with it for now. I had my local MC shop mechanic look at it. He showed me where exactly the noise was coming from, the prongs inside the plug going into the light. He fiddled with it to no avail. He said NOT to put any type of lube on it because it would most certainly blow out the headlight. Anyone out there have any suggestions?
