I have read a number of messages that describe helmet noise and the
solutions are buy a taller windscreen, ride with no screen or use
wear earplugs (or any combination of these). I use a full face helmet
and have found that at highway speed if you place your hand under the
side of the helmet there is virtually no noise on that side. Is there
a collar or something that you can buy that would stop the wind
noise?

helmet noise at highway speed
I noticed that too so I had my wife get out her sewing kit and stitch
the front edge of the flap that goes around the bottom of the rear of
my HJC helmet up to the part that goes around the ear so the flap
isn't pointing into the wind. I'd say it eliminated about,,oh,,40%
of the noise.

Harry,
If I somehow lost my A-10 I'd be happy to own an A-14. I also weigh
280lbs. and 6'5" and nobody living has ever laughed at me.
