Hello Carl,   If you can't find the seals you need for your water pump, I have them in stock.  The mechanical seal, the oil seal and the water pump cover gasket.   Fred

I took it back to be fixed under warranty a week and a half ago. The dealer says the repair part is "on backorder" and doesn't know when it will be in. I am about to go get the bike tomorrow, find the part,  and do the repair myself. I guess my question to my fellow riders is is this normal for dealer repairs? They don't seem very cooperative. What has been your experience with Kawasaki warranty service? Thanks, Carl Visit the KLR650 archives at http://www.listquest.com/lq/search.html?ln=klr650 Support Dual Sport News... dsneditor@... dogs in foreign country

Post by punkynsquirt@cs.com » Fri Sep 01, 2000 6:11 pm

Steve: All the consulates of the countries I will be entering have assured me there should be no quarantine or other problems as long as Punky has an International Health Certificate, showing he has his required shots, from my veterinarian with a USDA endorsement and a paper from each country's consulate before entering. If anybody has done the above and experienced problems in any Latin American country I would like to know. I lived in Baja California Sur, Mexico during most of the 1970s and had no problems crossing the border many times with my German Shepherd. Thanks for your reply, Lew
