[dsn_klr650] raising klr back height
be sure to raise the front end too. my bike is kinda squirelly right now
because i set the preload on 3 (i'm only 165 lbs) for 2-up riding a couple
weeks ago and i keep forgetting to turn it down. this seems to steepen the
head angle to where it's annoyingly twitchy at hwy speeds.
i remember reading about elden carl's fork cap extenders, but i don't know
anything about them. sounds like they might be a good idea.

I'd recommendstarting with a foo-foo bikes in this order, first is most foo-foo. XT, XL, DR, XR, KLX300, DRZ . If you're riding trails, you will go faster and easier (than KLR or ATK) on all these bikes. The ATK 490 is a race bike like the YZ400F. Will be too tiring to ride for a newbie. However if it goes for less than $3000, maybe you could take your lumps? If a 2-smoke is OK, you can't go wrong with a KDX-200 (another KawTipper), any year. KDX-200 can be ridden by a beginner, and can be raced effectively - a GREAT motorcycle. It's at $2376.01 right now but reserve is not yet >met. No affiliation with seller just passing along info. It's probably too >much bike for my wife right now
