elden carl's balancer shaft adjustment procedure
The reason for leaning the bike over is because the lever is not held on the
shaft and can stick to the bolt and be pulled part way off the shaft. This
is also why I recommend doing this procedure hot as warmer oil is not as
sticky. There is no real advantage to laying the bike over beyond 30 or 40
