Don't be too hasty in issuing a blanket condemnation of Electrex. The May 2000 issue of Motorcycle Consumer News tested an ElectrexUSA Model RR51 Voltage Regulator/Rectifier on a Ducati with good results (page 35). Of course, this isn't a stator test. Hey, I've got it--you need to start with a truly deficient electrical system in the first place. And I give them credit for rightfully agreeing to give you a full refund, no questions asked.
