So? What's wrong with that? Mao, Hitler, the Buddha and Christ all did it. I'm in good/bad, make it evil, company in velocity if not quality. Hmmmm....As long as I have my theology strait I won't be forever damned because of pride. According to Dostoyevski: God as man, good..that's Jesus; man as God, bad...that's the villans of history. Easy to this mixed up though; hope I've got it right. This post again. Actually I am offended, but I've had lots of practice, so I'm used to it. I think is a gag shot of all the GS club members gear on one bike. Only a H-D rider or an Australian would load a bike like this and
since he's wearing Roadcrafter he can't be Harley .

chain riveting/staking
On page 3-18 of the VTR service manual listed under (Dia staked area)
measurement for RK chain is given as 5.45-5.85 mm. Using the Motion Pro
chain staker tool, and a trial and error method I was putting what I felt
was an excessive amount of torque on the tool to meet this spec. Using a
torque wench I put 20 ft lb of torque to reach a spec of 5.3 mm. I think
this is sufficient and any more torque would risk damaging the staker tool.
Using a torque wench with the staker tool will save a lot of time for this
procedure and minimize risk to the tool.
