[dsn_klr650] balancing act
Joe,
Check out Gino's article at:
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/6164/page29.html
I purchased the stand listed in the article and it is really sweet and makes
balancing fast. It is pretty expensive though. Over 200 as I recall. The
axle annotation he mentions has been changed to two machined cones that
center the tire.
Good Luck,

P.S. Gino, don't be so sensitive! You of all people from what I have seen
should know that some people don't take certain jokes very well... Remember
the Beemer guy you coached before MOAB? Some folks were seriously pissed but
somehow life continued. For my part, I don't take anything too seriously
except... um, hmmmmmm, ok I don't take anything too seriously.

The question of new vs old tubes and adding "lost Slime" came up a while
back. I always use a new tube, others said they just replaced the Slime that
leaked out. I believe Dash has a bit in the archives on balancing.

I'm kinda afraid to ask Dash for advice given our diferences regarding loud pipes, radial riding on hiking trails, etc..
(kidding)
Got a great re-direct to Gino's article on changing and balancing tires. Thanks!
Joe
