Interesting, but disappointing as well. What does it take to get a KLR to make 40hp at the wheel? More and more I like my 600. Mister_T> This email message is a notification to let you know that > a file has been uploaded to the Files area of the DSN_klr650 > group. > > File : /DYNORUNS.jpg

Ted,
Thanks for posting this to the web site! It's nice to see some actual
numbers to go along with "seat-of-the-pants" performance evaluations.
But now I want to know how it feels in the real world. Can you feel the
2HP gain? Looks like you got more of a midrange torque gain than a
horsepower gain. How does this fell on the road? Based on dyno run #6 is
your bike quite loud?
Knowing what you really got for the dollars spent, would you do it
again? I have mixed feelings about exhaust/intake "performance" mods as
compared to stock power and loudness.
Thanks again for sharing your excellent evaluation,
Barry

It wasn't me, I only commented on the graphs. However, if you want to see what a stock clapped-out 600 does in comparison with a DR650SE then have a look at Eric J's site.> Thanks for posting this to the web site!

Er, I'm sure I _will_, when I fix my bike. It started as a problem with the stator, so while I'm in there I'll replace the chains.> But now I want to know how it feels in the real world. Can you feel the > 2HP gain?
If, when my bike is fixed up with a few additional bits, I don't at least match a 650 output then I'll be disappointed. Mister_T> Looks like you got more of a midrange torque gain than a > horsepower gain. How does this fell on the road? Based on dyno run #6 is > your bike quite loud?
