It seems very smooth. It's NOT underpowered. It has unbelievable torque & I cruise very comfortably at 70-80 mph for long periods in very hot weather & I can burst to 100-110 mph very quickly. My A13 totally rocks & is totally stock and will stay that way. To each his own, but I don't understand why everyone is modifying their bikes so much. > >-Brian Shepard > A13 > Obviously neither of you are living with tweety-bird exhaust. I was a big fan of stock until the chirp began and now I will be putting a new pipe on, which in turn will require a re-jet. If I get more power that's cool, but mostly I don't want to sound like a high pitched lawn mower anymore. dat brooklyn bum _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html

Ok, so you go to a baseball game. You're not in the box seats but you're not in the bleachers either. You take your seat. What do you do? You adjust a little back and forth to get comfy. Then 15 min later you adjust again... I don't modify too heavily, I just get comfy. By the way, thanks all for the advice on the 'new' muffler last night. Jim (waddya mean I need a wider seat?!?!?) Dan, I've heard nothing but good things about those old nighthawks. One of the alltime great bikes. Bill in Oregon, 1978 Moto Guzzi T-3 (KLR wannabe) dan shaw wrote:
