I found this on the KTM web site: Richard Sainct Returns to KTM KTM is proud to announce that 1999 and 2000 Dakar Rally winner Richard Sainct is returning to KTM. Richard recently signed a two-year contract with KTM that will see him compete in worldwide rally competition. The experienced rally-pilot rode for KTM before witching to BMW two years ago. With his colleague Jean Brucy as "water carrier", he will race the following 2 rally-seasons for the Austrian company. The first rally for Richard Sainct on a KTM will be at the Egypt Rally. He will ride the Dakar 2001 and many other rallies that count to the World Cup. Richard Sainct and Jean Brucy will start with their own team, for KTM-Sportmotorcycle France, SAS, the new subsidiary of KTM. KTM wishes the French-Team Sainct/Brucy a successful season.
