[dsn_klr650] wd40?
stop it, stop right now, zip it, shhh! not another word!!
put whatever you want on your chain. it's entirely a religious issue. i
personally use wd40 on my chain after i've used a hose and brush to scrub
most of the dust and gunk off (after offroading) and a rag to wipe off most
of the water. the wd40 drives the water out so the chain doesn't rust as it
dries. later (often the next day or even a couple days later if i'm lazy) i
use real chain lube from a can that says "chain lube" on it. i use a waxy
one (silkolene) so it'll attract less grime, and it seems to work, but my
religion may not work for you. it doesn't bother me at all to ride to work
with just wd40 on the chain (i did today), but generally it's pretty short
term just to prevent rust until i get around to using real lube.
do whatever you want to your chain, as long as it makes you feel good, and
makes some sort of sense to you.

anyone in the amarillo area?
Alright! Not many of us on this list with the same good taste in
music
If you were to say look for the guy with his nose pierced
(without the KLR) that would prolly round it to 50% of the
attendee's! I'm way to far away to attend but it looks like it'd be
a good event.
Have fun!
Karl

out> Just checking in and seeing if anyone's out there. I'll be heading
