klr manual nklr

Post by Robb Seurkamp » Thu Jul 27, 2000 8:40 am

Hello friends- A couple of questions. I am looking for a manual for my 2000 KLR. Someone mentioned a manual for sale on ebay. I looked and it is for an 84 KLR 600. Anyone know if this is the same as the new base manual? If not does anyone have a base manual (and update) they want to sell?? Thanks, Robb 2000 KLR 1,300 broken in miles (literally)

Well I can't say that my bike is not out of spec on that spline, or anything else, but I get my lever REALLY tight on there and after a few hours of riding I have to tighten it up again. The gap certainly closes when I tighten it again so I am guessing that the mount is relaxing. I'm not talking about the shaft play, this lever is rattling around. One more thing to live with for the joys of KLR ownership. LaterZ Dash
