[dsn_klr650] 600+ mile seat-nklr

I'm a happy owner of a KLR250, riding trails through Colorado (http://www.4x4trails.net). I like the lightweight 250 over the 650 since all the trails are close to me and require little if any highway riding. My problem is that everytime I ride, I get off smelling like I stood behind the exhaust pipe for an hour. At first I thought it was other vehicles on the road. Then I road at 3am with NO ONE out and I came home reaking of exhaust. Then I thought maybe I had a pipe leak. Checked that.. nothing. The only thing I can conclude is that the KLR250's exhaust is "swirling" back over me at specific speeds and causing all my close to reak. Try coming home to your girlfriend reaking of exhaust. You'll want to take a shower and change clothes in a jiffy. I use to ride motox and don't remember this problem. Is this common with the KLR's? Is there anyway to reduce the problem?
