Honey's Corollary states that all men's efforts are directed into 3 main areas: 1. Money, 2. Ambition, 3. Recreation Therefore; If all men make it their Ambition to Make Money (A2MM) so that they can Enjoy Recreation (ER) the following mathematical relationship is valid: 1+2=3 (Money+Ambushion=Recreation) The following condition must be honored: Don't let your A2MM get in your way of ER cuz the product of your A2MM can easily dominate your life so that you cannot ER and you end up DOA-ER (Dead On Arrival - Emergency Room). In conclusion: The Less you Know, the More you Make, the More Fun you Have, provided that Honey is Kept Happy. Knot - workin' to play (with Honey, kids, mortgage and a few ol' bikes)

Hi Rob, LMAOROTF!! (Laughing my ass off rolling on the floor). Dilbert's theorem truly tells it like it is in the real world of engineering. It's only slightly better when you move into management. I guess I better be careful admitting that on this list since there are student engineers here. Jim

can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following three postulates:
> > Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power (Knowledge=Power) > Postulate 2: Time is Money (Time=Money) > Postulate 3 (as every engineer knows): Power =Work/Time > It therefore follows: Knowledge = Work / Time > and since, > Time = Money, we have, Knowledge = Work / Money > Solving for Money, we get: Money = Work / Knowledge > Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, > Money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of Work done. > > Conclusion: > > The Less you Know, the More you Make.
I sent this to one of my old AE professors and he almost died over it. He used to work for Douglas and said truer words have not been spoken. Skip

Ah but what is the question ? Ed Windsor Oh Now if you were from Bettlegeuse, albeit a less fashionable part of the universe, you would know that the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything is not responsive to one question but an amalgam of all the infinitely improbable questions determinable only by the Heart of Gold. Unless of course you subscribe to the theory that the ultimate computer (the Earth) provided the question only moments before its destruction by the Vogon constructor fleet. But if you believe that then you probably think that the ravenous bugblatter beast is a misunderstood and unfairly maligned creature. BTW, do you know where your towel is? Rob
