impatient at light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

got my 2000 klr650 a few months ago, and have been behavin myself... for the most part..... up until yesterday. I was merging into traffic on a busy 4 lane road with a turn lane in the middle. I had been waiting for awhile, when i decicded to scoot out into the turn lane and try to get into traffic. Well just as i was doing that the light about a block away changed to red and all the cars tightened up...bumber to bumber, and there was no place for me to get in. After 2 seconds of quick calculations, I decided to ride down the turn lane to the redlight ...........wait...then pull in front of the lead car on red. I did all that, and much to my surprise their was blue lights immediately on my a$$. Of all the luck..... the lead car was an unmarked detective, who was in a really foul mood by my actions....... Anyway after running my liscense..he let me go with a "I got better things to do than right tickets" line. I WAS LUCKY!
