Is there a problem if my chain is too loose
(not dangerously but not on the specs).

Check your spark plug after a few tanks of fuel. I had a K&N air filter in
the box, the Dyna-Jet kit with 150 main, and the stock exhaust. When I put my
Supertrapp on a couple weeks ago, I replaced the plug. It was massively black
with carbon. I decided to drop to the 140 main jet with the added Supertrapp.
I have only run two tanks of fuel, so I haven't checked the plug yet. But the
bike is running better and the mid-range acceleration is great. What I ended
up with is: mixture screw at 2.5 turns out, needle set at third notch, 140 DJ
main jet, K&N air filter, Supertrapp IDS2 w/10 discs. The bike seems to work
great. Will know for sure after next tank of fuel. Mileage, fully loaded with
traveling gear, was 42.6 mpg. This was a conglomeration of interstate travel,
back roads, head winds, and trail riding. I weigh in at 280lbs. and the bike
was fully loaded with GIVI hard luggage. Not too bad.
By the way. Dyna Jet informed me that their jet sizes do not directly
correlate to Mikuni or Kehin jet sizes. So, your reason for selecting the 150
DJ main jet does not directly relate to the stock 148 main size. You would
have to measure the holes to determine the exact difference. If you don't
want to spend the bucks on a Dyno Jetting run, or an exhaust analyzer run,
then jet by the plug condition. You have made a good start, but you'll be in
there a couple times before you finally find happiness. (Maybe not, you might
get lucky, most tuners I know usually take several shots before they settle
on a combination)
Hope my personal experience helps you out.
