[dsn_klr650] nklr sunglasses/tinted goggles??
Cosmo,
My combination Scott goggles(with Gradient lens) and helmet visor do
well
for me in allround. Still see fine at night. Keeps the early
morning/evening, and daylong rays outta my eyes as well........On long
trips, the tank bag holds an extra clear lens in a cotton pouch.
I wore conventional plastic, and wire frame sunglasses for a short time
once, then went back to goggles for better comfort, sealing out of dust and
wind

[dsn_klr650] nklr sunglasses/tinted goggles??
Since I HAVE to wear glasses these days, I wear a pair of prescription Ray-bans, or a pair of clip on sunglasses, under a pair of Scott OTG goggles with a clear lens. These goggles are great. They fit over the glasses comfortable, and though the open area on my Arai DS helmet is limited, these goggles fit in there. So I get both, wind protection for my eyes, and sunglasses. (I can't stand riding at any speed above 35 mph with just sunglasses.) 25 years of skiing has taught me that it is really hard to keep tinted goggle lenses from scratching, and scratches on clear goggle lenses don't seem to obscure your vision as badly in the bright sun, while it is easier to keep sunglasses from scratching. I don't know about shatterproofness of the glasses I wear when riding, but I don't worry about it when I am wearing a full face shield, or goggles. Anyway, I really like my Scott OTG's.
