I rest my case :-) I worried someone might take my original email seriously (It seems I need not have worried). I have Not quite figured out the US sense of humour yet. I once got flamed on a dog breed mailing list when I made a bit of a sick joke with plenty of Smileys to show I was only joking. One woman took real offense and flamed me many times. In the end I broke down and explained to her it was black commedy. This is when the fighting really broke out (racist pig etc etc). I then had to repost that I meant commedy that was macabre and had absolutely nothing to do with race. America and England , two nations divided by a common language!
