how to change the rear sprocket.?

Is it difficult to change the rear sprocket? How is it done? Does anyone know of a good chain/sprocket deal? Dale Johnson A14 with 9650 miles and holding till I get a new chain.. Man I feel like I am having withdrawals not being able to ride.
