[dsn_klr650] looking for a torque value and tire pressure

Post by John Lyon » Sun Jul 02, 2000 11:16 am

Gregory: Front Axle Torque = 58 ft. lbs. Tire Pressure for the stock Dunlops = 21 psi front, 21 psi rear with a load of 215 pounds or less. (In my dreams :>) 28 psi rear with loads greater than 215 pounds. I would use these numbers only as a ballpark figure. They will change depending on the type of terrain you are riding on. John Howdy. My manual hasn't arrived yet. What is the proper torque value for the front axle on a '98 KLR? What tire pressures should I be running for the front and rear tire? TIA. _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
