Provided of course you can see that it's a clear landing. ;^) I've actually done the push the bike in front of you manuever in dirt at slow speeds, but I don't know how well it would work at higher speeds or on pavement. dat brooklyn bum _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html

laser produro available??
Hi List,(Happy 133rd. birthday Canada) sure hope these teasers about
Fred at Arrowhead becoming a Laser exhaust distributor come to
being. After Tweety invaded my stock muffler I tried the Swiss Cheese
Butt plate (4 half inch dia. holes), alas, not Gouda'nuff. While the
actual exhaust note is much deeper and more pleasing to my ears
Tweety
is still there (sounds like that guy from the Crash Test Dummies
singing a duet with Yoko Ono). The Laser sounds like a high quality
unit that one can bolt on and forget about it.I understand it may be
pricey though..........cosmo

OK. First off, I hope all you crazy cats are wearing proper protective gear before you try any of these things. Second off, having once jumped off a skateboard as it rolled down a _HUGE F*CKING HILL_ with a boat landing at the bottom, and tried to hit the road running (I understood about momentum, but I had no conception of my velocity at the point where I decided to jump off, rather than be thrown off by the cheap ball-bearing wheels) and immediately went down in a spray of road rash and torn clothing, well, I wouldn't recommend jumping off the bike... Hey, I was only 11! TMSAISTI (The look on my dad's face as he realized mom was gonna kill him for not keeping us free from harm on the first post-separation camping trip, now that was something...) Personally, I'll take my chances with SIPDE, appropriate use of speed on streets, frequent inspections of my brakes, and the stopping power of machines. It's done me well so far. ---o&>o--- Sarah Barwig sarah@...>On Sat, 1 Jul 2000 20:23:24 -0400 , Shepard,Brian wrote: > >Can you just jump off of the bike?
