This hasn't been mentioned, but you really have to be careful checking your tires and airing your tires with slime. You have to have the stem on the upward side of the tire, say from 10:00 o'clock to 2:00 o'clock, and I wait a few minutes to make sure. There still might be some residual slime down into the stem, so before putting the gage on it I let a quick shot of air out. That slime can gum up and ruin your pressure gage, and can even glue up the stem core and make it impossible to fill the tire if you're not careful. I don't remember if this warning is on the slime tube or not. Its not, I just checked a tube of it. One warning I did read on it though, is that all over the road tires must be balanced BEFORE using slime, and you shouldn't use slime to balance the tire. Despite this, I really like the stuff.
