[dsn_klr650] handlebar risers

Nick, I been down this road and this is what I'd recommend. 1)Rotate your bars so that they are 'nearly' in the highest postion, then... 2)Estimate- How tall of bars you could get so that 'with yours hands on the bars, in the seated postion' you'd still be comfortable. Then.... 3)Estimate- All cables and lines to determine if indeed they will reach your newly 'estimated bar height'. 4)Purchase- different, taller bars than the ones you now have on. (You may find a wonderful selection at bargain prices at a salvage yard.(5-$20?, maybe all, or solid alum.??) Seems like taller bars just ain't made these days.....or maybe at an ATV place..........then they're $$$. 5)Install the purchase and experiment with comfort/practicality heights. 6)If the above doesn't work, or nearly does work, I'd look at peg position/possible modification----last.
