Never heard of this source but Websters and Random House both have the same definition: "an ulceration of tissue deprived of adequate blood supply by prolonged pressure." Neither mention hygiene, kind of hard to believe they're both wrong and Taber's is right. Maybe Taber's provides for more sources of bedsores but I,ve always heard they were caused by ignoring the older person and letting them sit or lay in one position for too long.

What was the name of that Canadian who did the Atlas on his KLR? Patrick something? Didn't he have a web site? Seems you could learn something there..... Go for it I say. Jeff
