I switched to Tengai forks on my A2. They have thicker walls and should therefore be stiffer. Mark B2 A2

FYI: Napa auto parts stocks a filter for the KLR 650 it's # 4951 and also has replacement O-rings as well.  $4.99 US.  Made in Canada just like the Fram & Wix.  It was also slightly cheaper than the Fram PH 6070 at the national chain just down the street.    Are those stainless steel replacement filters that much better?  How do you effectively get the tiny particles out of the screen unless you have a hydra-sonic, ultra-sonic cleaner to do this?   Also, I read a few posts about how much better Mobil Super-1 15w-50 Advanced Formula is over the newer Tri-Synthetic.  Is this true?  There's a store in town that has bunch of the Older Stock on the shelf but only in 15w-50.  Should I stock up?  I don't plan on using it till after 3000 miles at least.  Still seating the rings for now w/ Valvoline Prem Blue 15w-40 and a tiny shot of STP Red bottle for ZDDP boost.  Can't find STP new car formula anywhere even on the STP web site?  Just Blue & Red?      How much time should I spend in the higher rpms 5000, 6000+ to ensure full & proper seating of the rings?  I don't typically redline my motors that much but if I do I don't want to snap a rings.    Planning on 60,000 miles plus, Lord willing!    Glen Meyer,   A-13 "Burnout Buster " w/550 miles
