[dsn_klr650] nklr environment

Post by Rob Heywood » Sat Jun 03, 2000 12:09 pm

And corporations turn around and do the opposite. Which is worse? One "radical" environmentalist or one CEO in search of profit? My point is that there have to be some safe guards for the environment. It's not one or the other. I want to buzz around on my KLR or my mountain bike. But I also don't want to destroy it just for my own fun. I am not hearing too many voices that consider both sides of the issue. This concerns me. No what I mean?? tom stone wrote:

[dsn_klr650] any suggestions for overpants? nklr

Post by Adam Stahnke » Sat Jun 03, 2000 12:30 pm

I was looking at the Aerostitch Darien pants and jacket. The pants are a bit pricey at $300. Any suggestions for other manufacturers ofsomething to wear over good work clothes? I had been in market for a Roadcrafter or Darien for about 3 months.  I tried E-bay and consistently got out bid at the last minute.  I just picked up a used 2 piece Roadcrafter with bib attachment for $450 (same price as e-bay bids) with shipping.  I must say the fit is much better than the Kilimanjaro I have.  Here is where I bought it from: http://members.aol.com/motorle/index.html

I bought my Kilimanjaro used from: http://www.newenough.com/

I make no promises.  I was pleased with the customer service I recieved at both. Good luck.
