[dsn_klr650] who bought the klr from cycle center?

Post by Weaver, Mark » Thu May 25, 2000 11:33 am

of course, $6k in fremont dollars (where 21yr old programmers straight out of college start at $70k or so, + stock options) is probably less then $4199 in denver dollars, plus the 6k includes all the tax, shipping, license, etc..., that i bet the denver advertised price doesn't include. mw

I got the same deal from the same dealer last year. The $4,199.00 included everything but sales tax and license fees. But you're right, in a high-buck locale, $6- large is peanuts. Chris Lawson MWeaver@... writes:

Also...Fremont Cycle center is a large Harley-Davidson dealer as well, so they're probably used to making $3000-$8,000 profit on every Harley sold. BTW, Fremont Cycle Center has lots of open job positions available if anybody is interested. Benefits could be worthwhile. Conall Fremont CA

Hi everyone, I have been off list for a while. I have been reading some messages regarding Alaska. I myself am going there after Moab. I'm just wondering how many are doing the same if at all. Thanks Saludos Juan
