[dsn_klr650] gaiters, in california?

I like Daystar #58 fork boots. Don't use the #63 as your bike will end up looking like the robot from Lost in Space. Mark B2 A2 At 9:18 PM -0700 5/21/2000, billmonahan wrote:

Bill, Don't know how bad your gaiters are but consider this. Two years ago I was going to change mine; they had 4-5? cracks total. As a temporary fix I patched them with vinyl repair goo from Checker. Well time and 20k miles have passed. The temporary solution is now a permanent one. The goo has held and no new cracks have appeared. Bogdan

I've replaced mine with Daystars from Dennis Kirk last year after replacing fork seals. I think they were about $23. Craig Highline A2

Yep, need some new ones.....fork gaiters....... Who's replaced them with BMW gaiters, or some other gaiter, that fits and works well? I don't think I want to replace the Kawasaki ones with the same part....they didn't seem very supple, and didn't last long. There didn't seem to be much in the archives on the subject. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ High rates giving you headaches?
