Just curious what octanes fellow listers are using. I currently use 93 since
the difference of $0.20 a gallon (from 87 to 93) works out to only about $1
more per tank. I just assume higher octane is better but maybe I'm wasting a
buck a tank?

Mike at Dual Star suggests that feeding you bike filet mignon (high octane),
will spoil it and then it will no longer function properly on ground beef
(low octane). I use only low and mid-grade cuts in my bike and it runs
great.
My A12 (15K miles) has yet to develop the tweet also, but don't know if it
is related to octane or not.

bigger gas tasnk for klr650
Does anyone know of a bigger gas tank or maybe an auxiliary tank for the
KLR? There is a local guy going to Nepal / China, looking for more range
between Texaco's I guess.
