In a message dated 5/18/00 9:07:07 PM Eastern Daylight Time, billmonahan@... writes: << I am thinking of giving my KLR a name....and since the east coast fellow (Scott?) took the moniker I coined, "wandering green whale", the "Desert Tortoise" has a nice ring to it.....yes, it does. >> I umm, just kind of borrow your moniker from time to time. It's the funniest & best descriptive name I'd heard for the KLR & couldn't resist. As I recall your post entailed wheeling the wandering green whale into your living room to do some work on it. I always try to stipulate that the name is "borrowed with permission, sort of." & Have only used it a few times, and when do, it's more as name for the KLR species. Will stop though. When time comes to give "army bike" a name, I'll give it some thought and come up with something original. Scott A14 (--) Sorrento
