[dsn_klr650] nklr: ama policies
Okay gang, you amy not think that the AMA is doing something for you, but
guess what? It's an association of and for riders. You want something
changed, raise a big stink and the AMA wil take notice. They do also back a
lot of initiatives, but rely on local individuals and clubs to get the ball
rolling. that's how the park ban things were overturned, and that's how the
discrimination of mororcyclists in health care plans was rectified. The AMA
does work for you and you benefit from it if you belong or not. An aside to
the whole process.
The AMA has crested 250,000 memebers. the national Organization For Women
has fewer members nationwaide than that. And the AMA is approaching the
Sierra club. So ifin ya'll get off your duffs, we can out number some and
become a very loud vocal voice in the politics of riding. get involved and
join.
