Yes... it is stranded.

Good point. I'll cut off the yellow plastic stuff - solder the connection - and heat shrink them. I've got about 40' of the stuff.

The fuse in the block itself will not serve this purpose? No, I guess it won't, as it falls in-line "after" the wire... I don't mind over-kill (to an extent). Putting a master fuse in line might be a good idea. Thanks for the feed-back! Arne

Thanks to all who commented on their helmet selections. I have a lot more information than when I started! Following is a list of the helmets commented on and the remarks made on specific models: Nolan N70 -can use with or without visor (i.e. with goggles) -can wear sunglasses with helmet -questionable latches, may fail?? Nolan N100 -noisy -comfortable -flip visor is convenient -exceptional value -questionable latches, may fail?? Shoei RF-800 Arai Dualsport HCJ -open faced and can be used with goggles Bieffe Dual Sport Shoei RFR Brad Davis A?? (no klr yet) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
