Sorta interestes in the fusebox mod myself. I searched the archives and poked around the dualsport pages a bit and can't find a mention of it. Am I blind, or am I really as tired as I feel?

[dsn_klr650] fusebox mod
Re: [DSN_klr650] Fusebox mod As you look at fuse box mods, you may also want to consider re-locating the fuses. I basically did what Arne showed in his article at
http://www.geocities.com/~klrdsn/page122.html>
but I put the mini-blade fuse holders on the vertical frame member on the left side of the bike, just aft of the sidestand switch cover. This way, if you have racks or hardbags (or anything) covering your access to the seat bolts, you can still get to the fuses easily. No need to remove luggage, racks or seat. Just need to use waterproof fuse holders. They're like $5 each, and I just zip-tied them to the frame. The caps have stayed on, and all's been worry-free and waterproof for about 10,000 miles, including dirt, highway, etc.
Just a thought.
