Hi, I was carrying a work colleage today on my klr650a13 when I
start to listen a strange noise. My id plate was rubbing against the
rear tire. Of course it's probably my fault because I had install the
plate by using the top hole. Right after that, at home, I checked the
rear spring the bolt setting was at maximum and the dial setting was at
number 2. Is it normal or am I carrying too big buddy?

My wife writes romance novels for a living, and all the ladies on her
listserve are waiting for May royalty statements and bitching if they
aren't here yet. We sound the same way about our Aerostich catalogs. That
said, I got mine today. Great stuff. They've even added Beverly Cleary's
classic "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" to the list of stuff they sell. One
night my dear wife was reading the book to our eldest. She stopped, looked
at me, and said, "This book is to blame for all this, I know it." And in
that moment, I knew she was right. That was my favorite book as a kid.
About a year ago she bought an autographed library catalog card for M&TM
for me at a silent auction. My DW is a peach.
Off to MSF class all weekend.
BTW, I have discovered that a hi-viz Aerostich jacket does more than just
protect you from road rash and rain. Whenever non-riders see me wearing or
carrying the jacket, they say "Gee, people must see you in that" instead of
"Gee, my cousin got hurt real bad on a bike once." Protection from snide
remarks; now that's priceless!
