And here I've been using flattened aluminum cans for all these years (I
like the larger Fosters type cans best, good footprint). They don't have
the hole in the middle, but they're pretty damn hard to break, and they're
harder to litter when in a state that has a can deposit. It never occurred
to me to tie a string to the pull tab...

That's a great idea...I have a whole pile of 'coasters' that I've made in the process of burning CDs for the last few years...every so often I trash the pile...no more! I've actually been toying with the idea of cutting a piece of something to tie a string to for the saem purpose...
Some people are just a bit more inspired than me, sure am glad they like to share their info!

drivers, but I was > kidding about mounting a dispenser on the bike, even though I think tailgating a bike is a > death-threat. I was going east bound out of Houston one night about 10PM ish on my way back from camping in the Toas region of New Mexico when a Harley comes by in the fast lane with a car right on his butt. In fact it seemed like the car tapped him a few times.. I got off the throttle to let this get on down the road from me and started seeing flashes from the bike and the car goes off the road to the left, hits the inbankment then across the highway in the ditch in front of me as I was heavy on some brakes. The dude pulled his gun and was popping caps thru the windshield of the car is what I gathered. The scooter dude hauls it to the next exit and dissapears and I grab much throttle and evaoprate my R11GS down the highway. Didn't see any cop cars on the rest of the way thru Beaumont so guess the dude wasn't dead. And, was glad cause if witnesses would of just said a bike down the freeway did it and, I may have been stopped and I was for sure packing so that would of been a hassle for me. -- Best Regards & Happy Trails Andy Chesley @ 57 and ticking Y2KLR650 @ 3.6K sMiles 97 R11RA (Amiga) @ 12.3K Miles So Many Roads, So Little Time http://members.deltech.net/aches/> I should say, yes, I love to entertain violent thoughts towards idiot
