brake lines for year 2000 klr650

Hello all, I recently purchased an 2000 KLR650 and , (OF COURSE) want to add the braided steel brake lines. I've researched many different KLR sites, but none specify that their braided lines are for a 2000 model. Can anyone provide information on how to proceed. Do earlier models work for the 2000 model?
