[dsn_klr650] gino's reviews

Post by Rich W » Tue Apr 18, 2000 8:40 pm

The KLR is my first bike. I had only ridden 4-wheelers until I bought my 98' KLR. I love the bike as much on road as I do off road. The bike feels/is heavy off road, but the power seems to make up for the weight. The part I love most, seems to be what most everyone on this list enjoys. Running down the road at highway speed and turning onto a dirt trail. Climbing over a moutain and right back onto a paved road. Several hundred miles of this is an awesome day! After about 500 miles on this bike, I am comfortable enough to commute through Metro Boston traffic. I live only 11 miles from work, but I often take the 30 mile way home (Through the twisty roads of the Blue Hills) Having a blast.... Rich. A12 "Beast" (Now with an MSR bash plate and a rear master cylinder guard.) Thanks Fred!
