nklr helmet turbulence

Hi People, a couple of days ago while riding home, one of the aluminum screws that holds the visor on my KBC moto-cross style helmet fell off ,causing the visor to flap around. I removed the visor for the rest of the ride home- I could not believe the difference, so much quieter and I never realized how much pressure that it causes on the neck.Anyway, I replaced the visor today because it looks goofy without it, but before I ever do any long distance trips I can see where a helmet designed for such a purpose would really cut down on fatigue and allow you to go that extra 100 miles......cosmo
