[dsn_klr650] extra rims
Price here from the mfg for a front rim, spokes, nipples and hub without
axle and brake/speedo attachments is $763.56. I've heard Excel makes the
rims but I can't find their web site and Dennis Kirk doesn't sell them in
the proper sizes:
Front: 1.60 x 21
Rear: 2.50 x 17
If you come up with anything please pass it on.

[dsn_klr650] extra rims
Ya mean it's not that simple? I figured if I found a log along the highway
somewhere I could just pop the bike up and swap 'em out... can't take more
than a minute or two right?

[dsn_klr650] front sprocket nut torque /
=== No, 72 lbs. is the correct torque for that bolt. I have a copy of original shop data sheet for the trans. change here and was specifically given the torque spec of 72 ft lbs. for that nut. eric> I incorrectly posted the torque for the countershaft sprocket nut on the > newer KLRs as 72 ft/lb. >
