interchangable wheels

I own a UK spec KLR650C, and am thinking about getting a spare set of supermoto wheels made. My question is, are KLE500 hubs the same (reason: there are more available at breakers in the uk). I had a quick look at a KLE today but could not take any measurements. I want a direct swop without having to have machining done etc. Thanks for any help Van Nottingham
