I specifically object to "stealth" attacks on the US in the guise of car information. While all may have political opinions, I suggest they keep them to themselves. As Doug says, I thought it rather amusing that the author (who may well be American) should launch into such a tirade in the middle of an otherwise technical and potentially boring specification document.
