Crank handle

Does anybody on the North coast have a starting crank handle available? Some one has apparently adopted my spare and with 5 vehicles which can be started the old fashioned way. . .the Bent one remaining is suspect. I know Moss has them but come on $60 for a piece of iron with a cross bolt? and then the shipping and handling.

In a moment of idleness I once decided to make an exact copy of a starting handle using a real one as a pattern - Never got finished and $60 sounds cheap in retrospect! Clive ======================================

I have just acquired a crank handle for my 1948 MG TC. Can anyone tell me where it should be mounted or stored in the car ? Don, John is right. But if you want maximum leg room for a six footer, leave the crank and the clips at home. The seat can be moved back further if the crank clips are not installed.
