Does anyone know if the batteries at WalMart are made by Yuasa? They have one that will fit the KLR for $32. Thanks - Brad --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? New DSL Internet Access from SBC & Yahoo! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

For $32 does it matter if it says Yuasa or Energizer ? Battery is a battery when they are cheap to replace. IMHO Dooden

They used to be, but the last one I bought (3 weeks ago) wasn't. The part # changed and so did the filler caps, acid bottle & country of origin, so I'd say that someone else is making the battery. The battery should be OK though and is cheap enough, although the price jumped $6 in the last 2 years.. Mark B2 A2 A3

There are two types of turds: regular and polished. Get a sealed battery if life is a concern. Paying any more than $32 for a wet-cell just isn't worth it.

I don't know if they are Yuasa, but I have bought three so far (different bikes) and they seem to hold up better than the OEM units, for less $$$. Thanks! Rev. Chuck http://www.ravenshadow.com/KLR650/ :^)>+ --- Brad Davis wrote:

You say that as it if was some kind of slap in your face. It seems as if those questions were in YOUR best interest. By asking those questions, the officer's report can contain the info that you weren't speeding and your headlight was on. If he doesn't ask, he can't write that down, and your case would have been weaker. Dave Williams Save the whales. Feed the hungry. Free the mallocs.
