fork spring spacers?

Post by rosslindberg » Tue Feb 27, 2007 4:33 pm

I just ran out to the shop and measured the pre-cut spacers that came with my Progressive springs. They are 2.625 in length and 1.050 OD. ID was 8.25. Hope this helps. Ross Lindberg Fertile, MN Oakdale, CA

I took a standard off the shelf fork brace that I bought from Dual star and tig welded mounts that bolt onto the fork brace on both sides. I mounted a set of halogen lights on these mounts. There is a toggle switch mounted on the handlebars that controls the auxillary lights. The bike was rewired so that the headlight and auxillay lights can both be turned on or off only if the bike is running. I can run either light or lights or both types together. As soon as I get finished with the alterations I will post pictures. tom dunn , Detroit
